"Foodie's"- Lover's of Food!

Nothing brings people together like good food. There are some things that don't change much. You find the smell of a dish or a way a certain spice is crushed, or just a quick look at the way something has been put on a plate, can pull you back to another place and time. You love those memories that seem so far away, yet you can hold them and carry them with you, even forget them, and then with a single taste or hint or a smell, be chaperoned back to a beautiful moment. My grandfather (Nanaji) once appreciated me, for having my food peacefully and not rushing to swallow it, for enjoying every bite of it. In today's fast world, we keep rushing here & there, without being actually present, which spoils the whole fun & taste of life. We all have a different "taste", but a common love for food. For foodies there is no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box in their hands. For all food lovers wish they could download food, that would be the best use of technology for them. A part of the secret to success in life, is to eat what you love. Dieting is when you eat food that makes you sad. Food is for eating, and good food is to be enjoyed... I think food is, actually, very beautiful in itself. I am a better person when I have less on my plate. A good meal soothes the soul as it regenerates the body. Food, like a loving touch or a glimpse of divine power, has that ability to comfort. Hardwork  should be rewarded by good food. Food is capable of feeding far more than a rumbling stomach. Food is life, our well being demands it. It is an art and magic. It evokes emotions and colours memory. All happiness depends on a good breakfast. Cooking with love provides food for the soul. Life is a kitchen, put on your prettiest apron and whip up something incredible. A recipe as no soul , you as the cook must bring soul to the recipe. Eat well, travel often. Only a fool argues with a cook. Different places have different food culture, but the love for food is the same everywhere. Sometimes you enjoy the experience and greatness, of getting on your knees and picking your own food and going home, cooking it and eating it. the rawness has a special flavour and treasure, but very few realise it and make time out for such an experience.
For food lovers, when people say, "I forgot to eat", they think you must be a special kind of stupid. As rightly said, by George Bernard Shaw, "There is no sincere love than the love for food". I myself am not a food lover but I love foodie's, for their innocent love for food. When you cook food, cook with all your heart, then it will taste best, even if you miss out on any specific ingredient. Love adds flavour to our food and thus when a mother cooks food, it tastes best and is special beyond words.
